Paris Airports

The majority of private jet traffic to and from Paris is concentrated around Paris le Bourget airport (LFPB), a dedicated business aviation airport and the busiest single airport for private jets in Europe. Located 14 km (30 minutes) northeast of the city centre of Paris, Paris Le Bourget offers several terminals and VIP lounges and can welcome jets of all sizes.

Other airports include Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport (Paris CDG Airport) France's busiest airport, Paris-Orly airport, a 17 km (32 minutes) from the city center as well as Paris Toussus Le Noble Airport, a very active airport for general aviation located 40 km (55 minutes) south-west of the centre of Paris.

Walk along Paris

Walk along Paris and immerse yourself in culture

Paris has a rich and vibrant history: take a walk along the Seine and breathe in all of its iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and the iconic Louvre Museum, which is home to famous artworks such as the Mona Lisa. The Musee Marmottan-Monet houses the most incredible collection of Monet’s work worldwide.

Another favourite walk is around the Marais with a stop to refuel midday at Mariage Freres for tea. It's the most charming spot and they have all the greatest teas (and treats!) in the world.

Enjoy Luxury Shopping with rich tradition

Paris is the dream destination of any fashionista. Luxury French brands with rich tradition have their signature stores on the famous Champs-Elysées but don’t miss to discover the flagship Chanel store on the iconic 31 rue Cambon (1st arrondissement). While the ground floor boutique offers the latest collections, the second floor in the building is the famous apartment of Coco Chanel herself.

For something uniquely Parisian, it is worth visiting the Grand Boulevards district where, between the theatres and cafes, you will discover “Les Passages Couvert” (covered passages) with stunningly ornamental glass roofs and mosaic floors. The Gallerie Vivienne is the most glamorous of these arcades and Jean-Paul Gaultier has his flagship store here, but there are also unknown designers worth to be discovered. Stroll along any of the thirty or so passages to discover boutiques, jewellery shops, antique showrooms, tearooms and old-style restaurants.

Indulge yourself in fine cuisine

Paris is known for its incredible food and offers a vast selection of “haute cuisine” dining options. For an unforgettable Michelin star dining experience try Epicure in Le Bristol Hotel. At Epicure, celebrated chef Eric Frechon, who holds four Michelin stars, has created a temple of gastronomy that is absolutely French. His macaroni stuffed with black truffle, artichoke and duck foie gras, gratinée with aged Parmesan is an unforgettable dish that people travel to Paris to experience.

Just steps from the Pont Neuf, star chef Guy Savoy's three-Michelin-starred table serves inventive and eye-catching dishes anchored in tradition. Views of the Seine and Louvre from the dark-slate dining room on the first floor of the Monnaie de Paris are memorable; so is the painted ceiling.

If you are looking for lower-key but still high-quality restaurants, stroll along bustling side streets away from the tourist spots and discover delicious cuisine cooked by local chefs.

Luxury hotel in Paris

Parisian elegance with stunning views at Shangri-La Paris
This Shangri-La hotel in Paris is an escapade into a sybaritic vision of France's past: as the former residence of French prince Roland Bonaparte (the grand-nephew of French Emperor Napoleon), the impressive property features a Louis XIV façade and an interior resembling Versailles. It’s nestled in the refined, residential 6th arrondissement, just a short walk from the famed Champs-Élysées. The hotel will enchant you with its world of marble, silk, crystal, Murano glass, gold accents, oil portraits in gilded frames and bouquets of fresh flowers

Apart from the modern Penthouse Suite and the Imperial Suite, which has a butler's kitchen, the 81 bedrooms and suites are calmly classical, recalling the French grand lifestyle. Most have large rooftop terraces with astonishing views of the Eiffel Tower. Dining options include the Franco-Asian Bauhinia restaurant up to the Michelin-starred Shang Palace.
